First Day August

Our first day August was a busy one. Our big man has had a busy week full of work so when he got off early yesterday we decided to squeeze in as much fun as possible. I should've known better than to listen to the weather man instead of my gut and stuck with our original plans which was camping at Sweetwater but I must say the backyard was almost just as fun :)

First Day February

It can get pretty hectic around this neck of the woods.

 

Especially when you have four monsters taking over the house.

 

Yep, four

 

But I would be lying if I said that I didn't love every single minute of it.

You would've thought it was the end of  the world the way this place was packed out...no eggs...no milk. It was a tad ridiculous

My sweet Luke,

Today you are nine.

Nine.

Something about that number makes mommy so excited and sad all at once.

Not quite my little boy anymore, on your way to becoming a little man.

Seeing you grow into the person you are going to be this year has brought me so much joy and made me so proud.

You are an incredible child.

One with the biggest heart I've ever seen.

A heart that has been through so much in your short time here but yet still sees the good in everything and everybody.

You love without boundaries or questions and go out of your way to make sure everyone feels accepted.

Your determination is unending and you are stubborn at times but always eager to learn something new.

Your curiosity is inspiring (and sometimes a little nerve racking :)) and I know with your sense of adventure and imagination that the sky is the limit for you.

I love you my sweet boy.....more than you'll ever know.

Happy birthday, I can't wait to see what this year holds for you!

With fall coming up I have received multiple emails about whether or not I am still doing photography and if I am going to be doing fall/holiday sessions and cards again this year. The answer, of course. I may have a full time job but this lady isn't ready to retire her camera quite yet :) So for all of you who have asked and haven't got a response yet there's your answer and if you are interested in booking a session feel free to leave a comment bellow with your email and I will get back to you as soon as possible. A New Chapter

We recently took a trip down to my home town in Florida to catch up with family and celebrating my brothers last week here in the states. While we were there the one question I got asked multiple times is where are pictures of the new place??? Truth is with everything that's been going on over here I haven't had much time to pay attention to this old blog but for y'all I will take the time :)
