Look What The Creek Brought In

I was barrelling driving down the driveway the other day when I caught a glimpse 

of this little guy hobbling across the way. He was a little shy at first
but I would be too if I just had a near death experience. Of course Luke wanted
to keep him, but after a quick little science lesson and discussing that he belonged in the
water, not my bath tub, we slipped him back into the creek and bid him adu.
In other news, I am doing my last minute run around today for our mini vaca to Tybee this weekend.
The kids are super excited and so am I because I finally get to see a sunrise.
So y'all have a fabulous weekend and we will see you Monday!

Heaven

Friday we had our totally awesome, everything girly, junk food filled, laugh til your guts hurt slumber day party and it was ah-maz-ing!!!! I told Scott when I got home Friday night that you know that you've found your true friends when you can just sit in a dark living room all day, watching movies, talking when you feel like it, and it not be awkward. We started off the day by pigging out eating all the yummy snacks I brought and talking about things that I will not mention on my blog(don't bend over Andrea, you might cry, or at least laugh until you do :)) Then we grabbed our blankets and headed off to the living room to be lazy for the rest of the day. And what better way to be lazy than to watch all your favorite chick  flicks! To say it was perfect would be an understatement.

Lets Go A Pickin'

Monday Nic texted me and asked if me and the little lady would like to tag along with her and her crew to the strawberry patch. Since everybody in my family LOVES strawberries (well except for Luke, he decided recently he doesn't like them because they have "hair" on them) I figured the adventure would be well worth it. Matalie wasn't quite sure what we were doing out there but as soon as she saw Josie pull her first strawberry she was off and going to town! We went to Cottle Farms off of Ellis Road in Fayetteville and I would recommend them to anyone looking to pick their own berries. It was eleven bucks for the bucket and the girls had a blast!
