Mean People

You always hear about people getting their computers hacked, stolen credit card numbers, and identity theft but it's one of those things were you say- that would never happen to me.

 I stand corrected.

Friday night while on the internet my computer completely froze up with message that said I had spyware and my computer is infected. I can't access my firewall, my control panel, or any of my documents, and I am ticked. I don't understand what joy people get from hacking into someone elses computer and taking what doesn't belong to them. Grrrrrr. Needless to say I am with out a computer until we can come up with the bazillion dollars it cost to fix it.

Ok, I might be exaggerating a little, but something about paying for someone else mistakes just peeves me. Good news is, I got lots of scheduled posts for you guys so you don't have to worry about not having your "morning reading material" as Nicole calls it. Hope y'alls weekend was better than mine!

They Love Each Other

Wednesday morning I had Gabe's visit that I had to take him to. And because I did not want to drive all the way to Lovejoy to turn around and drive all the way back to Griffin I just called up Mrs. Mabrey and told her we were coming to hang. You might remember the Love/Hate post I did last month with Mat and Josie. Well lets just say Mat and Olivia take it to a whole new level. It started when Olivia was born six months after Matalie and she was no longer the baby. But even with all the nasty looks exchanged between the two Amber and I were determined that they were going to be BFF's for life. Things have been looking a lot more promising lately and I think we sealed the deal when we found them hugging on each other and playing today with out us making them. Of course when Amber and I both ran for our camera to capture their PDA they both ran in the opposite direction. So instead here are couple different pictures from our impromptu play date

And just a little comparison, because we all love those

(for those wondering, no that is not pee on Mat's booty. She got in the dogs water dish)

Happy / Sad

I am having a hard time putting this past week into words.
So instead of doing hi/low I'm switching it up a little and doing happy/sad.

Happy: Sweet Sleeping Babies

Sad: When those so called babies won't sleep at night

Happy: Left overs from PF Changs

Sad: Having to wait an hour to be seated at a resteraunt

Sad: Breaking my phone which is an extension of my hand and my life line

Happy: T-Mobiles fast shipping and the package that held my new one today

Happy: Clean laundry

Sad: Folding laundry

Sad: Still having thunder thighs when I'm only 3 pounds away from my goal weight

Happy: ^^^ Those thunder thighs and kankles

Sad: Scott having to work so much

Happy: The time that we do get to spend together

Sad: Matalie changing into a little girl and not looking so much like a baby

Happy: Seeing my baby loving on her baby

Happy: Watching my kids play on my parents swing set I played on as a kid

Sad: Realizing that just like me, they too will some day grow up and leave home

Happy: Watching my kids grow and knowing that their futures are bright and promising

Sad: Loving and pouring into this vvv little guy knowing that I have no say in what tomorrow brings for him

Moon Sand

How do you get two munchkins
Who are running around like chickens with their heads cut off
To sit quietly for hours
And play together with out fighting??????

Dump some moon sand on the driveway
And hand them a pack of chalk

The Mall Is For Shopping...Isn't It??

When Sarah told me on Sunday that her and the family were coming up to stay with us for a week I was so excited. The weather here had been gorgeous for the past couple of weeks so by the time they showed up Monday I had a list of things we could do to keep us busy for the week. But, as we all know, Georgia is the bipolar state, you know the whole-if you don't like the weather wait a minute- kind of place. And just because it had been in the mid 70's and sunny last week doesn't mean that it couldn't be cloudy, rainy, and in the low 40's this week. So when the weather man reported Wednesday that we were under flood warnings, tornado watches, and all the other fun stuff you can think of we decided we'd just hang at the house instead of going to the museum. That was until the children lost their ever loving minds, so we braved the storms and headed up to Discover Mills Mall. (believe me, this was the safer option of the two :))

Discover Mills usually has loads of fun activities to do in the mall but since it was a Wednesday afternoon everything was closed. After about two hundred "I wants" with in the first thirty minutes we decided to let them have a break in the jumpy place even though it was seven bucks....per kid....for thirty minutes. Ridiculous right??? But I must say it was totally worth it.

The kids had a blast until Matalie decided she was big enough to go down by herself and crash landed.

Game Over.
