The Mall Is For Shopping...Isn't It??

When Sarah told me on Sunday that her and the family were coming up to stay with us for a week I was so excited. The weather here had been gorgeous for the past couple of weeks so by the time they showed up Monday I had a list of things we could do to keep us busy for the week. But, as we all know, Georgia is the bipolar state, you know the whole-if you don't like the weather wait a minute- kind of place. And just because it had been in the mid 70's and sunny last week doesn't mean that it couldn't be cloudy, rainy, and in the low 40's this week. So when the weather man reported Wednesday that we were under flood warnings, tornado watches, and all the other fun stuff you can think of we decided we'd just hang at the house instead of going to the museum. That was until the children lost their ever loving minds, so we braved the storms and headed up to Discover Mills Mall. (believe me, this was the safer option of the two :))

Discover Mills usually has loads of fun activities to do in the mall but since it was a Wednesday afternoon everything was closed. After about two hundred "I wants" with in the first thirty minutes we decided to let them have a break in the jumpy place even though it was seven bucks....per kid....for thirty minutes. Ridiculous right??? But I must say it was totally worth it.

The kids had a blast until Matalie decided she was big enough to go down by herself and crash landed.

Game Over.

Ha ha. It's 85 and sunny with a light breeze here!

Told you you wouldn't want to talk to me while I was on vacation!
